Minha jornada na psicologia começou em projetos sociais, workshops e seminários, e me levou a concluir a graduação em Psicologia Clínica e um mestrado em Psicologia do Aconselhamento. Com mais de 10 anos de experiência em abordagens como a Terapia Centrada na Pessoa e Arteterapia, adapto cada sessão às suas necessidades específicas. Minha Abordagem e Experiência
Tendo vivido, estudado e trabalhado no Brasil, no Reino Unido e agora na Holanda, entendo os desafios que vêm com a mudança para um novo país e as dificuldades culturais. Ao passar por essas experiências, desenvolvi uma profunda empatia e compreensão das questões que meus clientes enfrentam. Quando cheguei à Holanda em 2018, abri meu consultório para receber pessoas de todas as origens culturais. Estou aqui para ajudar, independentemente de onde você venha.

How does it work?
1. Assessment
Get ready to dive into your journey with a few questions to help us tailor the best approach just for you!
Our first step together involves an intake assessment, typically lasting about 90 minutes. This is our chance to get acquainted, address any questions or concerns you may have, and dive into what brought you to therapy and what you hope to achieve. Together, we'll explore achievable goals and set a path for our time together. During this initial meeting, we'll also discuss consent, go over the intake information, paperwork, important details about confidentiality and privacy.
2. Intervention
After we've explored your aspirations, needs and goals, we'll develop a customized intervention plan tailored to your goals and preferences. This personalized strategy will guide our journey, helping you make meaningful progress towards your objectives. Each session will focus on the issues you're ready to tackle, always keeping your main goal in mind.
The length of our sessions will depend on various factors, including the complexity of your concerns and practical considerations like scheduling and budget. To ensure we're meeting your changing needs and goals, your progress will be regularly reviewed and the approach will be adjusted as needed.
3.Conclusion
As you become more self-assured in navigating life's challenges, together we'll decide when it's time to wrap up our sessions.
Now is the moment you feel prepared to continue this journey independently, demonstrating your confidence in applying the insights and skills you've acquired to face life's twists and turns with greater resilience and self-assurance. From here, we can gradually reduce the frequency of our sessions until you feel ready to stop it.

Sessions are available by appointment only, with flexible scheduling options to accommodate your busy schedule. Sessions can be Online and in Person, in Portuguese or English. I accept payment via credit/debit cards, and online bank transfers.

Intake
First appointment offered to first time clients. Online or in person, The intake is an opportunity for us to know a bit about each other, clarify any additional questions you may have and to better understand your needs. Therefore, to not rush it, I ask clients to reserve a bit extra time for this initial meeting.

Following sessions after intake. Online or in-person, this is designated for individuals to work towards their therapy goals, exploring their emotions and thoughts, learning new skills. Meetings are generally, weekly or bi-weekly. But frequency may change based on individual clients needs.

For clients with financial constraint
For clients facing financial constraints and seeking accessible support, I offer reduced fees for both online and in-person sessions. These rates are determined on a case-by-case basis and may be adjusted as needed. (Please contact me for more information.)

Cancelation and No-show Policy
Clients are kindly requested to notify me with at least 24 hours of any need to change or cancel an appointment. Sessions cancelled after that period (with exceptions) or missed must generally be billed.
Insurance
Currently, I am not affiliated with any health insurance companies. Sessions are privately payed. Clients typically contact their insurance provider directly to inquire about reimbursement options. Certain insurance companies (outside of the basic insurance package) may offer partial coverage for therapy sessions. For detailed information and to find out if you fit into this category please reach out to your insurance provider.
Complaints
If you ever have any concerns or feel something isn't quite right, please don't hesitate to talk to me directly. I'm here to help and want to ensure your experience is positive and fulfilling. However, I understand that there may be instances where this isn't feasible. In such cases, as a member of the NIP (Nederlands Instituut van Psychologen), I am held to the their code of practice and disciplinary law. The NIP handles all complaint processes in accordance with their regulations. For complaints, please refer to the NIP page about complaints.
